Online Checker for: Word Count, HTTP Status, Response Time & Headers, Hreflang Tags

I actually use this tool privately to quickly check URLs for their word count. Of course you can also use ScreamingFrog, but I don't always want to save an entire crawl and load my presets back and forth.

Since my server is massively underutilized, I wanted to make the tool available to the public.

Features of the tool:

Word counter

A free tool that checks 100 URLs simultaneously for word count? That's new to me! If my server can take it, I'll increase the limits soon.

N-Gram analysis

Unfold the details and you will also get a N-Gram (1-3) analysis for each URL. However, the filter for stop words is currently only set up for German pages.

HTTP Status Codes

You get back the simple status code of the initial URL. The tool is not for tracking redirect chains, for that I would really recommend ScreamingFrog.

Headers / Canonicals

Additional information such as response headers and canonical tags are available in the detailed view.

Hreflang tags

A small overview of the number of Hreflang tags is simply intended to provide some added value and simplify an overview.

Page Rank

Pagerank? Yes, you read that right. When I heard about the Open Page Rank I felt quite nostalgic. And since OPR offers a free API: Why not display it?

Feedback, suggestions, insults? Bring it on!

This should not be a one-way street. In order to constantly improve the tools, I would like to receive constructive feedback. As a thank you there is also a dofollow link.

But: This does not mean that you should place backlinks for your dog salon customers here. Write something with added value and the comment will be activated.
